Billie Ward & His Dominoes

One of the most popular vocal groups of the early 1950s, Billy Ward & His Dominoes are best remembered for their one pop hit in 1957. Both Clyde McPhatter and Jackie Wilson had been the lead singer for the Dominoes, but it was the lead voice of Eugene Momford, formerly with the Larks, that made "Stardust" reach #13 on the Top 100 that summer.

The Atlantic release of the soundtrack of the movie "Goodfellas" includes that memorable version of "Stardust."
