Louis Armstrong

Regarded by many as the father of jazz, Louis Armstrong is undoubtedly the most influential musician of his genre. In fact, Dizzy Gillespie once said, "If it hadn't been for Louis, there would have been none of us. I want to thank Mr. Louis Armstrong for my livelihood."

Naturally. "Satchmo" performed "Stardust" in his own unique style. The CBS Records release, "Louis Armstrong - Stardust," includes two very similar performances of the Carmichael/Parish classic by this renowned jazz artist.
